This one day workshop is a follow up of the kono weaving workshop.
We will go through every step to weave a konae (small envelope) that is very similar in weaving kono including the cast on and cast off.
This workshop is suitable for everyone who has little weaving experience. Perfect for those of you who have done the kono weaving workshop and want to revisit and further what they have learnt. It is expected that you have an understanding of tikanga in context to raranga and know how to harvest harakeke.
I am teaching this workshop in a small group of maximal four people, to ensure you get the attention you need to complete at least one konae, possibly two.
All materials (including harakeke) and tools are provided, all you need to bring is a towel and your lunch.
Refreshment and snacks are provided.
