This silk scarf is naturally dyed with leaves, native to Aotearoa, such as kowhai, makomako and pohutukawa, I have gathered from the forest floor on my daily walks. Each scarf is uniquely handmade here in my studio in the Ōtaki Gorge, by bundling the leaves into the silk, gently simmering in the dye pot.
The perfect scarf for anyone who has ties to Aotearoa/New Zealand.
There are no toxic chemicals or plastics used in the process of making.
Your scarf will be delivered in environmental friendly packaging.
